Overview
This module explains the goals of strategies for preventing dental caries. The module also discusses how to effectively provide oral hygiene education and reinforcement through a variety of techniques and to a range of populations. Other topics covered include mineral and antimicrobial agents, dental sealants, dietary counseling, and bacteriologic testing.
